OTTOLIEN are the brothers Leo and Jonas. One is a producer, rapper and beat tinkerer and the other a cerebral songwriter with acoustic guitar. In their lyrics, double-rhyme structures meet a visual language that stops at no pop-cultural reference. From hymns to "mermaid*men" to the unspoken love between "Franka & Laurien" to "Querfeldein".
OTTOLIEN write songs with hidden backdoors. If you listen closely, you will find lyrical or musical Easter Eggs behind them.
