YOUR CARELESS SPARK
Indie
Rock
Gentle unease and explosive emotional outbursts form the unusual framework for the always cinematic music of Your Careless Spark. Located in the musical neighborhood of bands like Elbow, The National, Wilco or Grizzly Bear, this band has a penchant for melancholy, yet is always looking for the light behind the cloud cover. Your Careless Spark have played concerts along with The Black Atlantic, Rue Royale, Wintersleep, Fenster, Sea & Air, Agent Fresco, Mister & Mississippi and many others, and have performed at numerous festivals. "Rectangular Soul", the band's second long-player after the eponymous album "Your Careless Spark" (2014) and the EP "Ashes" (2015), was created over the course of a year in the band's self-made studio and was released on vinyl and digitally on October 26, 2019. On "Rectangular Soul" the band always moves in a colorful gray area. Between enthusiasm and melancholy, between light and dark, between the chairs of the subgenres of indie rock, always ready to turn off in the next moment and leave the imagined path.
